Which RealFlight is best for me?

RF8 Horizon Hobby Edition

Designed around the tried and tested 3D platform used in RF7.5 and RF8, the Horizon Hobby Edition incorporates all the fan favorite features of the line and adds some new ones. Users can now enjoy 13 of the most popular models on the market from Horizon Hobby. They’ll also marvel at Horizon Hobby’s exclusive AS3X and SAFE flight stabilization technologies, enabling them to further their skills in the simulation and at the field. If you’re using a Spektrum DSM2 or DSMX transmitter, we’ve made it easier than ever to interact and utilize the Spektrum WS1000 wireless simulator dongle.

Even better, we’ve retained all of the previous features and offerings from the previous RealFlight 8 release. RF8 included more FPV Drones and FPV Racing events than ever before. It also allowed users to improve flying skills and try their hand at challenges and multiplayer competitions. Furthermore, RF8 is the first RC simulator that’s compatible with gamepads and joysticks for other games. The included virtual reality compatibility also remains. To do so, simply plug in your Oculus Rift or HTC Vive and instantly feel as if you were actually at the flying field.

RF-X

With top notch video cards, RF-X delivers the most incredible graphics ever seen in an RC Simulator. It’s designed around the UNIGINE 3D engine, a Triple-A graphics platform. It also does away with the drop-down menus and dialog windows, which some users found confusing, for an exceptionally intuitive interface. Users can access nearly every facet of the simulation via the InterLink-X controller, never having to touch the keyboard or mouse.
