Everybody loves a good story. And that's why we're asking you to share yours.
Over the years, we've received letters from a huge number of modelers, telling us all about their experiences with RealFlight.
Some used it to learn how to fly and solo without an instructor – and without ever going to the field. Some airplane pilots probably used it to learn how to fly a heli. And still others used it to learn new maneuvers, to perfect old ones or as a great way to practice for event competition. Some originally bought it just as a video game – and wound up becoming an R/C pilot.
Does that sound like your story? If so, great; we'd love to have you tell it. And if not...we'd love to have you pass on what did happen.
Maybe RealFlight was a special gift you received – or gave to someone special. Maybe you bought it for yourself, but instead found a great way to pass on your love of flying to a niece or grandson. Perhaps you thought flying was just something you enjoyed – and ended up sharing with the entire family.
Those are just a few of the possibilities, but you get the picture: if you have a good RealFlight story, please – share it here.
We'll look forward to hearing from you.
"Having never flown model helicopters before, I joined my local club in 2012. Club members advised using a simulator. I looked at and tried a few types and decided to go with RealFlight 6. My main decision for this was the Interlink Controller, USB connected, and no charging of batteries. Great. At the end of the year prize giving I was awarded " Most Improved Pilot Of The Year". Thank you RealFlight for a great sim. I practice with RealFlight every day. Rain or shine."

"My experience with the 6.5 with InterLink controller has been a wonder full experience. If you want to truly learn how to fly r/c aircraft you should look at this item. The free down load will verify if your system will handle it."

"I started on RealFlight (first version) more than 10 years ago (I was spent 3 hours first). I was very amazed about quality of graphics and flight... It was still using InterLink controller with 15 PIN game port :):). I continued on G2, G3, G4, G5 and now on 6. I feel difference on RealFlight 6 than other versions (more realistic plane fly). I have spent more time on RealFlight 6 in a few months than other old versions for those years. I tested others good RC sims (last version) and I really prefer RealFlight 6. Thank you RealFlight 6. It helps me to be better in 3D fly in a few months than before... All the best... Good fly.... MAURURU"

"I purchased my RealFlight 6.5 on 2/27/13. I installed it on my Toshiba laptop that's 4 years old. It has a 2.10 processor, 4 gig memory, 320 gig hard-drive and a video card that came with it. To make sure all was well I was told to run the demo and if it ran OK the program would be fine. I installed it and it works FABULOUS. I must say it sure beats blowing threw cash by crashing expensive models plus its a great adult toy. The air boat is way cool I can't wait to get good enough to take my Piper Cub and both Vistas out for a fun run. Thanks for a superb product RealFlight!!!!!!"
- Thomas Barrows |
"Real-Flight 6.5 is amazing! I got into the hobby about 2 years ago and I would not be as good as I am now without it. last year I went to the 2012 Ohio Huckfest and was inspired by all the amazing 3D flying, but the 50cc plane I had was bad at 3D so I practiced on the RF 6.5 and now I feel professional. I have a 3DHS 104" AJ Slick, 88" EG MX2, 3DHS 72" Extra 330sc, CY Lite, and a 3DHS Depron Velox. I am going to show off all the maneuvers I learned on RF 6.5 this year and i'm going down Joe Nall so I hope to get a lot of practice in and i'm going to be flying at different Full-Scale airshows this summer. I am also going to enter in the King 50 this year. All of the skill I have now was gained by spending A LOT of time on Real-flight and time in the gym with the CY and Velox. Well I hope Real-flight has the same effect on you!"

"I had an idea to start flying about 2 months ago so I went and bought a small Piper Cub EP. I built it in my kitchen and went out onto my street and sure enough I ran it into my neighbor's roof immediately. Soooo.. I went and bought RealFlight Basic. I glued my Cub back together and flew it three times the next day after practicing on RealFlight all night, lol. I crashed it and ruined it the next day. Now I have Realflight 6.5 and a new 3D plane that I've flown about 250 times! I'm hooked, I can torque roll, hover and harrier roll now! IN 2 MONTHS =D"

"I have been flying RealFlight sims since G3. Then I received G4, upgraded to G4.5 and then brought the G5.5 upgrade version. I tried to learn how to fly at a regular flying field (AMA) with an instructor after I built a Stick Plus trainer. However, like most first timers..it crashed. So now, after many years of flying here at home on my computer with the RealFlight simulator that includes so many different types of airplanes & helis...I was feeling pretty confident. I wanted to give it another shot..with the Real Deal and Real feel! I purchased a 55" scale foam electric Cessna 182, 5-channel (w/flaps!)...a complete RTF kit. Glued it together, balanced it, charged the battery and headed out to find a safe place to fly. It was my first time to solo at the airfield. After some high speed taxis, the aircraft was banking sharply to the right at liftoff. So I went back to the RealFlight sim and recreated the problem with my practice Cessna 182. I then added more left rudder and moved the battery back a bit in the Real plane...the problem was fixed!
WoW...what a feeling it was the first time I gunned it for takeoff!! This was it. I now have my plane in the air with nobody standing next to me. I was getting the "feel" and trimming the controls for level flight all on the downwind leg and first time flying! After a few deep breaths and reminders to stay calm and just fly it like I do in the simulator..a few times around I relaxed enough to add flaps and go into slow flight for landing passes. The landings were just as I practiced and somewhat smooth. I flew three batteries that day...and by the end of the last battery I was doing loops, rolls and stalls!!
I can't wait for the batteries to charge up again so I can head back out there and practice some more. RealFlight has proven to me that you really can learn at home, take that knowledge right out to a flying field, and have success the first time out!! I know because, I did it! Thanks RealFlight."

"18 months ago, walking along the beach, I had my first contact with an electric model airplane (a Cessna 182) that "shaved" my head and fell into the sea due to inexperience of the pilot. After many hours of searching the web, I decided what would be in my hangar and all the necessary hardware. Just needed the money ... Then I discovered the world of simulators: forums, models, manufacturers, diversity was great. Which one to choose to avoid destroying the aircraft in first flight? Decided by RealFlight 6 and could not be happier. I gave up the hangar idea because I have at my disposal, in the comfort of my home, dozens of fantastic models that can fly anytime I want with a cost much less than the cost of the actual flight. And I believe, with more pleasure and satisfaction! Just have to thank Great Planes and Knife Edge. Thank you! PS: at this moment, I'm flying version 6.5 and my hangar keeps increasing ..."

"All I can say is Wow! RealFlight is the best sim for 3D Huck-in. I bought all the other sims that are suppose to be the best for 3D before I eventually bought RealFlight. Now all the others are gathering dust as RealFlight blows them out the water. It's that good. Don't make the same mistake I did. Go for RealFlight first as it will save you a small fortune. It's the only sim you will ever need."
- Kris Cartwright |
"I broke one of the metal switches from so much use of my controller, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was an easy fix to replace, anybody with electronic skills (which all scale modelers should have) can fix. Kudos to RealFlight for that! Another fun thing for me, being a guitarist and instructor is to match the rpm's of the plane to the key of the song I'm listening to, I'm kinda weird that way. Mostly thanks to RealFlight, I've learned to fly and as soon as I get my DR-1 Red Baron going I'll be flying the real thing with the utmost confidence in my piloting skills."
- Paul Hagar |
"I used to play mini 4 channel heli at home because there is no safe place in my living area for heli practice. We cannot play heli in the park and building lobby. Because a small heli will result in less impact in a collision, I chose mini heli for practice. Now 4 channel flying indoor is no problem, but have no idea of changing the heli flight on upside down mode as all of the controls are reversed and there are lot of flying method during about the change of normal flight to upside down which I cannot do in my home as a beginner. I just bought this RealFlight 6 as there is a skill training for indoor 3D flight for the 6 channel mini heli. I hope that I can develop skill as a best indoor mini expert because I like Mini (~10" long) heli."

"I use RealFlight at the hobby store all the time when they are open! So I guess you can say that I'm a sim hogger. I practice on a 3D helicopter and I have a AXE 100 CP that I sadly crashed today! I broke 2 servos, the landing gear and the long thing that sticks out the back of the heli that holds the prop on the back. So it really is bad...so ya! On 12/27/12 I practiced all the time at the hobby shop. I love the graphics and everything and I give it 12 out of 10!"

"Hi. I started with a RealFlight G3.5 about 4 years ago. I got pretty good flying planes and about 3 months later I bought a T-28 Trojan park flyer. I flew it the first time and it was just like the simulator. It flew & landed first time out and I never looked back. Now I have 4 planes and a fun hobby. I could not have done it without my RealFlight simulator, Thanks"

"Good Day! I have started with the RC Hobby since 2008 and tried flying RC helicopters and planes. But I never do good at both. My heli crashed 3 times in 1 week and my P-51 Mustang nosed dive after 5 hours when I got it out of the shop at Dubai. It cost me a lot of money in parts but the Hobby Centre loved me for that. Then my RC mechanic advised me to get started with the RealFlight RC Simulator. I had to admit it, the RealFlight simulator changes everything. I once bought RealFlight Basic, until I got the G4.5 ,G5.5 and the new G6.5 which I bought from the same Hobby Centre in Dubai. Right now I am capable of flying both RC planes and RC helis with the help of the RealFlight Simulator. What's the best part of it is that 80% of my FaceBook friends are into RC hobby and was growing in numbers. Now I have 5275 FaceBook friends some are my co-players from a combat game I'm hosting. Right now I have a total of 78 TOWER SITES for combat games. I mostly spent 5 to 8 hours online with RealFlight and if you ever entered my site you are most welcome to enjoy and compete in my hosted game. Thank you so much and hope that someday there will be a helicopter tank buster combat game in RealFlight G7!"

"My dad bought the first ever RealFlight when I was four. I was really fascinated by it and I always watched my dad when he used it. He would then hand the controller to me and let me have a go at it. All Winter, I would boot up the old Compaq desktop and fire up the sim., as much as I could. I really started to enjoy flying. My dad has been in the hobby since he was 16. That Spring he bought a trainer for me. We went out to the field got the plane all put together, started it up and took off. He handed the radio down to me and from that moment I knew that this hobby would be something I would do for the rest of my life. After my dad landed it for me, we refueled and did it again. By the end of the day I was doing loops and rolls, and my dad couldn't believe it. I have to thank you guys and Knifeedge software
for everything. Now at age 16 I have owned every version of RealFlight and use it almost everyday. I hope to compete in 3d competition soon. Flying RC has been a big part of my life, I love it. Thanks RealFlight, and my dad, for introducing me to this great hobby."
- Alexander Gelina |
"I just bought RealFlight 6.5 and Expansion Packs 6, 7, and 8. I love every minute I spend on it, and it is going to take me months to get through all the possible combinations of planes, helis, flying sites, etc. I can't wait to see what you guys do next!!!"
- Trever Wittock |
"Many years ago I bought RealFlight 2 as I was advised by a professional to practice first. In 2002 I bought a mini helicopter which I mastered ok. When I bought a more powerful one I thought I better get the new RealFlight 6 and practice first."
- Jeff Sharett |
"I flew R/C planes a lot when I was a kid. Lately I took up the hobby again. I was able to get my airplane flying skills back pretty fast, but then I wanted to tackle helicopters. I bought an electric micro heli, and tried flying it with no simulator experience. Long story short, I probably spent about $1000 total in parts and new helis before I finally realized that to get good at helicopters, I would need a simulator. I bought RealFlight 6 and began practicing and crashing A LOT! Difference is, now I wasn't losing $100's of dollars in expensive crashes. Now I can practice any new crazy moves I want and just hit "RESET" if I crash! I can do some great 3D with my 450 now as a result of this great software, but in order to learn new tricks, RealFlight 6 is worth every penny. Yesterday I was practicing piro flips and probably did about $20,000 in "virtual crash damage"! I almost have the maneuver down, but I won't try it on my real heli until I first master it in RealFlight. RealFlight 6 has literally saved me a TON of money!"

"Hi, I'm Claudio from Mexico, I had a dream for 30 years of flying RC models after I saw my uncle fly his trainer. Now it is 2012 and I have my Hobbico Superstar 40 trainer, I started to practice with RealFlight 6.0 for about two months and... guess what!! Last weekend decided to fly my plane and it was a complete success. Thanks RealFlight, IT'S HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!"
- Claudio Cesar Mendoza Betancourt |
"All I can say is that I am newcomer to the flying hobby and I consider myself a Heli maniac. The happiest moments in my life are when my hands are touching the radio to move something like that. I recently ordered RealFlight and I am still waiting for it. Hopefully it will develop my abilities and improve my performance of flying... wish me luck guys."
- Mohamed Talkhan |
"Hey. I bought a helli some years ago, crashed it and gave it up for some time. Then I got G5 and did a lot of flying. Loved it! But about three years ago I sold my PC because I didn't feel the need for it no more. Now I have a PC again, just to do some flying. Hoping to get a real RC plane someday! Thanks RealFlight!"

"My first Heli purchase was a 3ch coaxial helicopter. After flying that around the house for two months I believed I was the Heli master and bought a 4ch Heli. Since I was the master I felt I didn't need to start with the basics and tried to fly it in a gym with all the speed and agility it came with. It was in the air about 30 feet up for about 20 seconds when she came crashing down in a blaze of glory causing $60.00 in damage. This was devastating. I purchased the RealFlight sim and been flying (what turned out to be my favorite heli) on the computer for about twenty hours. Well brimming with confidence I grabbed my 4ch Heli and went out to fly. Wouldn't you know it after several minutes of hovering and crashing a final crash broke off both blades. I didn't understand what was going on. I returned to the sim and fired up my favorite helicopter and flew it with no problem. After buzzing around for a half hour I decided to fly a different heli. Wouldn't you know it, this new sim copter flew exactly like my 4ch Heli. The same moves I made in the yard which caused my crashes were the same moves causing me to crash on the computer. After few days of serious practice on the sim I'm flying like a pro, maybe not a pro but I'm up and flying. If you decide to purchase this sim know this, the models on here fly like the real deal. My investment in this sim will save me time and money down the road."

"Hi, I am the grandfather of a 4 year old boy that is in the bone marrow transplant ward at Duke University Hospital in Durham NC. I bought the RealFlight Basic because I thought he might like to play it. I knew it was not recommended for a child that young however he likes airplanes and thought it would make him a little happier. Boy did I hit the mark on this one. He and his brother and father and grandfather loves this thing. The basic was just the ticket. Although he is only 4 years old he can fly the little red ultra light pretty well. I can not express how great it makes me fell to watch him play this simulator and the joy it brings him in a otherwise tough, very tough ordeal. Thanks RealFlight!"

"Hi, I am from India. I bought RealFlight G4.5 and it helped me a lot in learning physics of Aeromodel flying and new practicing tough maneuvers of RC Airplane. It taught me how to fly an RC Heli. Practicing on RealFlight not only helped me in lowering down crashes, but it also helped me achieving Gold medal in North India RC Airplane Competition.Thank you RealFlight! Now, I have RealFlight 6 and it is great! Thank you, once again!"
- Malwinder |
"A quick story about RealFlight 6. I tried the demo and I noticed that physics have been greatly improved. I have G4.5 and thanks to it I am not afraid of making mistakes while flying. I think with my pilot's performance will improve significantly with RealFlight 6."
- Matteo Russo (Italy) |
"My dad bought me a RealFlight and a Super Cub (thanks dad). I got real good at RealFlight so I took the plane and crashed it. It had anti crash technology but I still crashed... But, I LOVE RealFlight!"
- motmotman |
"I've been flying since I was 8 years old and would only fly circuits... One day I was picked up from school and my Dad handed me a RealFlight sim, A year later I could do rolling circles and rolling loops and learned how to hover a helicopter... I even hovered a Trex 450 in 10mph PERFECTLY the first try!!"
- Michael M. |
"Me and my dad loved flying planes. We always bought gliders that were junk. We eventually got a P-51D Mustang. We crashed a couple times but we got back up. We got tired of spending all of our money on propellers and batteries and glue. So we bought a couple of RC flight sums and put together it all cost about $100. Then when we got RealFlight but my dad was already sick of flying so I was the only one who flew. With RealFlight we saved money from other simulators and most importantly planes and helis."

"After using your product for six months I went out to the field for the first time with a 60 size Cessna 182. The instructor assigned to me could not believe his eyes when without any assistance from him I took off, flew a few circuits and landed perfectly.... Thank you RealFlight. Your product is exactly like the real thing...."
- Nick Louskas |
"Went to the flying field yesterday for the first time this year, but it was rather windy and gusty. Shortly after take off with my ElectroStik, I completely lost orientation and had already resigned myself to see it crash hard when my instincts took over and I somehow recovered. I attribute that to training during the winter months on the flight sim. I have been practicing with wind and turbulence, sometimes deliberately going out of control and recovering and also flying into the sun. On the sim you can take risks you would not dare to take on the field and it all sharpens your reflexes."
- Jerry Bakker |
"Hi, my name is Nathaniel Hert and I was first introduced to RealFlight by my friend Macmichael Hebert. I was baffled by the controls for a while until I watched Mac fly it. It is confusing at first but you get used to it and when I got the hang of it I never wanted to stop. It was a great experience and I hope someone else like me will get introduced to it by a friend like Mac."
- Nathaniel Hert |
"Hello. My name is Edward and years ago I had a really bad experience with my first time flying. I had been given a few planes by my brother but they were all more advanced models so I bought an Eaglet 50. Ended up buying a second one as I tried to fly on my own. I thought, how hard can this really be? LOL So, I crashed a few times, made repairs and tried again. Finally I found an airfield and someone took my plane up for me the first time. He was very nice. I took over and was flying and doing well. My nerves got the best of me and I let him land so I could come back another day. The next time I came back I looked for the gentlemen who was so nice but he wasn't there. This was before the Internet or cell phones. Another guy offered so I let him take my plane up and after a few minutes he yelled "dead stick". My plane did a nose dive into the ground. My radio receiver was ruined and I never went back. I sold all my planes to my other brother and tried a Shuttle heli, a gas one. It was just too hard and had too many adjustments. I was told I needed a better radio.
After all these years, I am enjoying RealFlight. I would like to buy a Yak, an Edge or maybe an Extra but I want a big one. I want to learn 3D. I'm very good with the simulator now. I can even hover. RealFlight has given me confidence to fly again one day and I know it won't be stressful."

"Listen, I've been flying since I was 4. I am now 14. First, my dad got me RealFlight G2 for my Windows 98 PC. I was vigorously training every minute and hour, every day and night, from weeks to months. Dad then bought me my PT-40 Trainer! :D So maybe after some years, once G3 came out, my dad's friend got me G3. Again, I was training harder and harder trying to be the best. I was now 7 years old flying a P-51 .60 size and also flying EDF Jets. I have never gotten to G4 sadly... BUT, I trained harder and harder and dad got me a Katana, 30 cc gasoline plane, aerobatic.
I flew that like a trainer until I trained myself to become an aerobatic pilot. Then I became an Intermediate Gas pilot. In 2011, when I was 13, dad got me a RealFlight G5.5. This helped me A LOT to achieve my goal: BECOME AN EXPERT 50cc GASOLINE AEROBATIC PILOT. Using RealFlight, I practiced and finally got my 50cc Sbach 342. I would like to thank RealFlight, Great Planes, my family and dad for helping me achieve my goals to becoming a 50CC aerobatic pilot."
- Ricky Williams |
"I am 55 years old. Back in the day I flew the, Ugly Stick, Phoenix, Kaos, and many others... I recently decided to fly helicopters and learned about RealFlight. I am overly impressed. On top of that the Big Stick brings back all of the old memories. I will fly my choppers thanks to RealFlight."
- George Erskine |
"Love the program. It gives you real confidence by helping you iron out "newbie errors" before the time you get ready to fly the real thing. RealFlight is far superior to anything else out there. I tried the Ikarus software but sold it within weeks. I have a huge complaint though... RealFlight needs to make this program for Macs & iPads. With the number of iPads out there alone, I can not believe this is not a profitable idea. I'm ready to head up that department. Thanks for a great program now get to work."
- Mat B |
"I've got RealFlight 6 so I am able to fly cool planes without putting a $500 hole in the ground. Thanks RealFlight. You are a real life saver..."
- Mike Gelderman |
"My dad and I love the program. I'm the combat wiz and he is the acrobat in the extra 300L. I rock in the P 51 Mustang."
- Josh Greaves |
"I bought my first heli last year. My regret was that I should have invested in a simulator prior attempting to fly. Naturally, I spent a lot fixing my heli each time I flew it. Then, two months later, after investing in a RealFlight sim, I improved a lot. Not that I don't crash anymore but only when I perform more daring moves. Now I can fly my heli inverted backwards or forward, upright backwards, do rolls loops, tic-tocs, and more. I love my RealFlight SIM and spend my free time just practicing with it specially during winter time."
- Tito Sarmiento |
"Hi. My name is Andrew. I just love this simulator so much that I sometimes spend hours on it and I don't even realize it. I bought a micro P-51D Mustang and never flew it until now because I didn't want to crash it and spend a lot of money to keep getting it fixed. I went on Knife Edge swap pages and found a micro P-51D Mustang and downloaded it and after I flew it for a long while. When it got warmer outside, I decided to fly it. It was my very first flight with it and I felt like I was a Pro at it. I wouldn't be as good as I'm now without my Real Flight simulator. THANK YOU REALFLIGHT PEOPLE!!"
- Andrew H. |
"RealFlight è il miglior simulatore che ci sia in commercio, io infatti ho imparato a volare grazie a RealFlight"

"RealFlight taught me to fly. If it hadn't been for that red reset button I'd been thousands of dollars in the hole."
- Freddie Shepperd |
"I am very impressed with how well RealFlight works. Years ago I spent thousands of hours scratch building many trainers to learn how to fly. I never progressed past simple trainers. A few years ago a friend bought RealFlight and learned to fly entirely by the simulator. His first time flying was with a low wing sport aircraft and he was flying in a park with soccer goals. His first time flying he was flying around and under the soccer goals and never crashed! I was so impressed I bought a copy myself and learned to fly a sport aircraft I just recently purchased as an RTF model. I was able to fly it with ease performing very impressive maneuvers on my first flight! I am sold on learning to fly on RealFlight. This is perhaps the best thing to happen to bring newcomers to this hobby."

"Hola, me llamo Octavio, les cont-are mi exito con este gran simulador, esto es para le gente de habla hispana, despues de destrozar 2 helicoperos 450, decidí comprar este simulador, version 4.5, y despues de 1 mes de practica, pude volar mi t-rex 450, ahora pienso comprar la version 6, por lo pronto ya estoy practicando el vuelo invertido, creanme! Esta
herramienta es extremadamente util para aprender a a volar. Desde ese entoces lo sigo utilizando."

(English translation: Hello, my name is Octavio. Let me give you an account of my success with this great simulator. This is for you Spanish speaking people. After destroying 2 450-size helis, I purchased version 4.5 of this simulator. After 1 month of practice, I could fly my T-Rex 450. Now I have purchased version 6. For now I'm practicing inverted flight. Believe me! This tool is extremely useful to learn to fly. Since then I keep using it.) |
"Hey Guys, I bought my RealFlight G5.5 in July 2011 and have since upgraded to RealFlight 6. I have daily practiced with nearly all the aircraft. January 6, 2012, I flew my T-28 Trojan...without incident and to date have accumulated approx 7 hours of flying time, By the way, I have No Previous RC Experience. This is just a dream being realized. Great Product."
- Chuck Cawthon |
"I live in good old Arizona. I have the RealFlight G3 sim, nothing special. I really needed it the first time I flew because I was terrible! When I got better, my dad bought me a new full scale plane. I forgot to practice with wind conditions, so the wind came in, and came out with my plane dangling in the tree. Sadly, I never got it down. :( I have decided to not only use the flight sim as a tool, but an alternative to that $300 XBOX. I love my sim. I am only 11 years old and an expert flyer. Thanks RealFlight!"

"Hi my name is Sky and I would like to share my experiences with RealFlight to all of you, my fellow pilots. I have been in the Hobby for not so long, maybe about 4 or 5 years if I remember it right. My dream has always been to become a pilot and I am still living that dream today. Well...due to financial issue that I can afford to become a pilot in the sky but fortunately, I can afford to be a pilot...on the ground which means flying RC Models. I started out with a CCPM helicopter with no prior experiences or any knowledge of how those machines work or how to control them in the air. Undoubtedly, I ended up crashing the heli in the first minute after lift off, hold on not even a minute but like 2 or 3 seconds if I remember it right. I was very discouraged at the time and even had a thought of quitting the hobby in my mind.
Until one day I heard about the "Flight Simulator", specifically RealFlight, and without any hesitation I bought the simulator and its been best friend as long as I ever know. The simulator basically was a tool in teaching me how to fly my RC Helicopter from the very basic for entry level pilot all the way to the advance. I just loved it, I loved how close it was in term of realistic to flying in real life.
The result? I am now capable of flying RC Helicopter as well as Airplane confidently. I can do basic flying like circuit, figure 8, and even some 3D maneuvers that I would have never been able to do before. The RealFlight simulator simply was the best and the most helpful simulator I have ever purchased and it's worth every penny I paid for it. You can purchase it as a video game for playing around, or as a tool to help to learn how to fly RC Models. You will enjoy it and will simply love how it will benefit you. RealFlight simulator is definitely a must!"

"I have been using RealFlight for years and with it I have practiced new maneuvers and designed my freestyle. This year I came in 11th in Europe at EXFC2011!! Thanks for the help!!"
- Martin Pickering |
"I started flying RC 4 years ago and with the help of RealFlight I am now a top pilot in Europe. Thank you!"
- David Duval |
"RealFlight is an awesome tool. Bought one of the older versions a few years ago. Can't remember which one (someone borrowed it and I never got it back). It helped me to fly fixed wing and helis without the use of an instructor. Finally broke down and bought the new RealFlight 6. Awesome! I really like the new heli physics."
- Jeremy Burridge |
"I've been flying RC planes since the late seventies and have lived all the changes in technology in the sport. Even with the advent of 2.4GHz with the safety and reliability it provides, nothing matches RealFlight. It allows a new pilot a way to safely and cheaply learn how to fly. And old pros like me can fly planes we would never get to fly otherwise."

"Over ten years ago I wanted to get into RC planes. I spent all winter building a really nice plane, just to have it crash the first time I was not with my instructor! I bought RealFlight and the rest is history! Now I have a successful RC business! I would be honored if you wanted to add the RC Super Hero to the your plane list! Thanks RealFlight"

"I've been flying my G4 for a while now and will soon be upgrading to G6! I Figured out how to edit my models to fly like a typical 35% airplane. Within a year I was already flying IMAC and Freestyle and flying foamies! Some people will say your cheating, I call it a secret weapon! It got me where I am now! -tomascratchbuild on the forums!"

"Hi. My name is Austin. I am 13 years old and got Real flight G5.5 about a year or 2 ago. I wanted to get into the hobby and learn about flying airplanes. At first I thought RC airplanes were toy grade and not much fun but hobby is way better!! I have been learning a whole lot! I love flying 3D and I am now loving the hobby. When I get older my dream is to fly in XFC and ETOC events. I can't thank RealFlight enough for making this wonderful software. If I didn't have it, I would lose a lot of money. Thanks to this, I am now flying a few 3D foamies. THANK YOU RealFlight. MEET YOUR NEXT 3D star! :)"

"I am an Heli guy. I was introduced to RealFlight in January 2011. With RealFlight I have mastered the basics. I have also learned to fly inverted and to correctly practice my throttle management. I use RealFlight everyday to practice. It increases my level of confidence so when I go to the field I am much more comfortable. I can enjoy flying my helicopters. Last week I went to my local hobby shop and I tried RealFlight 6. My first impression is WOW !!! The physic has been improved a lot and it is now very close to reality. I am very anxious to get my upgrade copy that I ordered."

Thanks Real flight."
